The Gorgon's Gaze by Julia Golding

5.0

2016:
The two first books in this series are definitely my favourite. The Gorgons Gaze is just as well written and lovely as the first book, and I really enjoy how it continues expanding what we already know about the Society and Kullervo. One of my favourite things in this book, is how we see our characters in a new light, how they react to situations that doesn't appear in the first book. We get a glimpse of the difficult relations in the Lionheart family and the strained relationship between Col's parents, while introducing new characters and conflicts. The character development, even for the minor characters is just astounding. I'm also really glad how this book focuses a lot on the environment, and we get to know how the mythological creatures feel about humanity. All in all it is a very well-written book and definitely one of my favorites.

2013:
It's a fantastic sequel. Sometimes sequels tend to be not as good as the first, but not this one. It's exciting and you just have to read to the next page to find out what happens. It's a wonderful book, and I highly recomend it to people who've read the first.
