Gary & Emy was a good story about friendship and learning no matter your size you can always help a friend out. Even though the book had a good story to it, it fell short for me.  The story seemed rushed, and offered no information on how the ant saved everyone.  The illustrations were good but could have been a little better, it just felt a little repetitive like they used close ups of the same picture instead of illustrating it.
