Each volume I read immediately becomes my favorite. The payoff has been so good and this isn't even over yet. This is the volume where you FINALLY get an exposition about the cabal, Wilson/Tom, and how the mechanics of the world work. Knowing that this is here makes the whole series a lot more readable and definitely sets it up for a great re-read.
