what i liked was that the author included content warnings in the beginning of the book what i didnt like was that the author excluded a lot of things that could have used a content warning in this book. i was unaware of how much body horror was gonna be in this book and i honestly wouldve appreciates the warning,, i very much could have done without the frequent descriptions of vomiting

the story was interesting enough and i was most interested in the last five chapters. and seeing such diversity in cast was really cool however i do have some gripes:

this book consists of an insanely large and diverse cast but literally none of them matter, theyre just there to fill space and they usually serve no relevance to the plot and theres so many unmemorable character it was hard to keep track of who is who.

the lore and world building,, now its quite possible that im just stupid but i didnt understand half of what they were talking abt with the flood and the graces and the seraph thing

finally i feel like i couldve used more reasons to dislike theo, maybe part of it is that benji still likes theo and since the story is told from his pov that effects how he’s perceived but i wanted to hate him but really i just disliked him
