I think it probably was a good book, just not really a book for me. It tackles dark and important topics in an interesting way in the end but I couldn’t really connect to the characters. Most of them were unlikable eventho I tried hard to like them. Some of the things happening in the book made me feel like it was written for A-level englisch students to have characters to analyse and I didn’t like that feeling. The only parts I enjoyed were Eleanor’s parts and there were only two of them.
I did finish the book, but I wasn’t deeply invested in the story. It just felt strange.
