The Rachel Incident by Caroline O'Donoghue
4.25
Very readable and at times (embarrassingly and nostalgically) relatable. The first 100 pages or so turned themselves, I was completely in it from the start. The friendship she and James has is what makes this book what it is. I think it’s explored really interestingly. As well as the “entanglement” with the older couple.
I wasn’t expecting the focus on pregnancy/abortion.
(At times the narration felt slightly surface-levelled).
