The Hundred and One Dalmatians by Dodie Smith

4.0

I can't believe I got to the age of 24 before I read The Hundred and One Dalmatians. I found it to be a lovely read, I knew the general story from when I saw the movie when I was younger. I loved the illustrations from Alex Smith, they were so delightful. I thought that the story would have aged quite a bit and I might find it a bit slow but that wasn't the case (expect for the fact that Pongo and Missis's 'pets' had nannies - a concept that is a bit strange for fully grown adults now).

Highly recommend this edition - a bunch of fun!
