I was pretty disappointed with this book. After reading Love & Gelato, I was really hoping for a cute and fluffy contemporary like the author's first book. This is not what happened...

The main character, Addie, was very immature and annoying most of the book. She was winey, and overdramatic, and I just could not stand her. I know she is only, I believe, 16 in the book, but she acted 12. I also didn't like the trope of the three older brothers being stud athletes and perfect in school and she is so ordinary, blah blah blah. It just wasn't what I was looking for in a cute contemporary. I also thought the plot was weird. I feel like I got whiplash from the weird directions it took and in my opinion hurt the story.

What I really enjoyed, though, was the Ireland Heartbreak book. The writing was so cute and so well done. I wanted more of THAT in this book. If it would have been just her traveling around Italy with her friend and then had met Rowan there and that sparked a romance, THAT would have been I wanted. The headache book was just too good for the rest of the story. It made it so fun with all of the Ireland history and landmarks and made me much more interested to go to Ireland.

Overall, not what I expected. Didn't really enjoy it as much as I hoped. I felt like I had to force myself to read it through the heartache guidebook parts.
