Maybe With a Chance of Certainty by John Goode
2.0
First half: cliche, kinda unremarkable insta-love tale which really annoyed me at some points. I'd give it around 2 stars.
Second half: Amazing. I really liked it. 4 stars.
The writing was really compelling and pretty awesome, and I finished it in one sitting at 2 a.m. in the morning, which has got to count for something. Overall, I'd give this book around 3 stars, although some of the glaringly obvious tropes really bothered me at first.
