I adore Caleb’s writing, and how much emotion and provoking thoughts he can create in such short books. I loved all the song references, and the questions on identity, both culturally and who you want to be in this world. The relationship between him and his father, I feel was written so emotionally and beautiful that many people who have immigrant parents would be able to relate on the want/need of not wanting to disappoint while discovering who you are when your upbringing is vastly different.
The relationships in this book, with love interests, his brother and other families members is so relatable and just honest that I was picturing it all vividly.
Overall I loved this book
