Animal Farm by George Orwell

4.0

This book reminds us how powerful, corruptive and dangerous people, or in this case pigs, can be. You probably know the actual historical context of this book ( if not Google it) and if anything this book is a clear cut representation of how powerful leaders can manipulate ideas, scapegoat people and alter events for their own benefit. There is so much history within this book and I found myself constantly sighing at how unbelievably gullible people (animals in this case) can be and how easily people can be influenced and a false sense of trust can be formed.
