The Iron Butterfly by Chanda Hahn

5.0

I see why this was one of my favourite books of the time, I love Thalia even though all she does is get into trouble with other people, and is just trying to survive <3. She is why I support women's wrongs.

Now Kael on the other hand..... is why I like my men just a smidgeeee toxic <3 I appreciate how he without a doubt shows up at the most random times and just fucks shit up a little every single time, its honestly a great plot device.

spoiler about the last chapter or so below :D
Spoiler i will always find it kinda sus that kael never followed thalia into the shop like. that is the most uncharacteristic thing about kael ever like its his job to constantly follow her. I understand its for the plot but it was done in such a messy way that I will simply never get over it and will continue to hate it
