I chose this book because of my January fast and it spoke to me with where I am in my life right now. This book was definitely a quick read. Anthony Evans Jr has a short attention span which he disclosed in the very beginning of the book. Therefore the chapters were short, straight to the point but very powerful. His story was a true testament that if you truly grow your relationship with God and take time to listen he will reveal so much to you in everyday normal things like brushing your teeth, sitting on a plane, going to class, etc. in everything that Anthony did, overcame, battled he took something away from it which is inspiring. As I continue on my own faith walk this is something I strive for; listening to God in everything.
