THE LAST 100 PAGES ?!!!! Oh my dear god what a twist
I’m ngl I was not vibing with the first half of the book. It was confusing and honestly boring, nothing substantial really happened, and I was concerned that she would never actually dive into any of the lore back story, like what it means to be the Maiden, why she is the chosen one, etc etc
But then DAMN it came out of no where and kept me hooked for hours
At one point I even got out a white board and mapped out all the lore so I could really remember it and I have to say I love the concept and the character + world building!!!
And Poppy is a badass
