The Day I Swapped My Dad for Two Goldfish by Neil Gaiman

4.0

Neil Gaiman does it again in this latest book about a child wishing for something, and getting exactly what he wants, but this time the main character swaps something and trouble ensues. This talk is both silly and yet creepy at the same time, while the dark illustrations add to the strange storyline. I especially liked the background images randomly added in each page, some including real pictures or articles, which enhanced the odd feeling of the tale.
