Know My Name by Chanel Miller

Miller is a natural writer and has a beautiful voice for reading. Reading her expression of rage in particular felt like the release one looks for (that usually never comes) when rehearsing speeches and arguments in the shower after a long day. I felt that my rage could rest even for a moment because it was finally put to words. Watching her transform after that experience and the second trauma of reporting and defending it was - put simply- therapy.
