Tiny Beautiful Things: Advice on Love and Life from Dear Sugar by Cheryl Strayed

dark emotional informative inspiring reflective slow-paced

3.5

I can honestly say that the writing in this book is absolutely stunning. Cheryl, well Sugar, has a beautiful way of telling a story and weaving it to a stunning, coherent, and humbling conclusion. And, for that reason, I would say this book should potentially warrant more than 3.5⭐️.

But, in the end, for me personally, this book was simultaneously heartbreaking and frustrating and for that reason I will keep my rating at 3.5⭐️. There were certain scenarios that she addressed that I felt she handled not as beautifully as the others, particularly around the debate about whether or not to have children that turned me off. But otherwise, a beautiful story.
