This book was a disgusting mess. Labeling it as "dark romance" is a lie. This is outright snuff and torture porn and should be labeled as such. It doesn't even read like it was written by the same person. It's 300 pages of overly detailed graphic violent rape of the main character and more innocent women being trafficked, raped, and dismembered. Then, it gives a sloppy ending of the mc being "rescued" by her rapist boyfriend and the ending is just him making her do everything the traffickers did to her, to him so he can try to make her think it's kinky and he keeps doing it until she's "untraumatized" enough to bang him again. An absolute embarrassment to writing itself.
