This book was a little hard to follow as there seemed to be a lot of time jumps that left more to be desired. I found the magic system a little hard to understand as well. I think this book would have been more enjoyable for me if it was split into 2 books and the scenes were longer and more detailed. However I did really enjoy this book and I will be reading the sequel.
