Alone by Lisa Gardner

3.0

To be honest I expected something a litte bit different when I started reading this book. I kind of like it but I had a few problems with it. My biggest problem is probably that I read book 6 and 7 in this series (and they were fantastic). So I had high expectations even thought I heard Alone isn't that good.

The begginig of book was SLOW for me. Bobby is a sniper so beggining was heavy on description which is part of his job. I had a problem with my English because of that. I didn't know what he is talking about and I had to use a dictionary a few times. But I managed to get through it!

It got so much better after that. I liked that there is mentioned and even considered Münchhausenův syndrom by proxy in relation to Catherine and her son Nathan. Nathan is sick all the time and doctors can't find the cause. On top of that he seems to get better when his mother isn't around.

Overall I like this book! I like Lisa Gardner's writing style and I will definitely continue reading her books and I already have Hide at home.
