Another great book! The only reason why I didn’t 5 star it is because Thalia kinda started getting on my nerves. One minute she’s all brave and ferocious but then in the next breathe, when things are bottoming out, she’s all, “where were you when I needed you?” “I could’ve died!” Woman up! Either you want to be independent without needing anyone’s help or you want the guys to protect you! Besides that, it was good. Book one, I was team Joss even though it was obvious, to me, that Cael was a contender even if Thalia didn’t realize it yet…. Early on in this book, I started changing my mind. Joss is sweet and all but Cael is the protector that every girl needs! How’s that saying go? A good guy will sacrifice you to save the world but a bad guy will sacrifice the world to save you? Something like that… you get my drift. Yea, I’m definitely shifting towards team Cael.
