The Season of You & Me by Robin Constantine

3.0

Summer romances are always fun to read, especially if it comes with coming-of-age elements. This book was not exactly heavy on that topic. Instead, it is simply an innocent story of boy and girl meeting while trying to escape the realities of their past, present and ultimately future. I did not find it a particularly engaging read, but I did appreciate the eventful moments of summer the characters shared - of bonding with their families, inspiring other people and meeting children at summer camps. That is what makes the book a good read, but the romance did not stand out much to me. It is still a rather pleasant read though.
