surprisingly really good with some great takes and interesting lgbt history facts. it is a bit too long tho with some homophobic takes and with questionable takes on pedophilia. to be fair i expected much worse from a book that came out in 1978? and is written by a French man.
YES i know about the french postmodernists' pro pedophilia movement of the 70s i do but i still get shocked when i read or hear people trying to explain to us why it is ok and natural to wanna diddle kids. "One has to belong to the intelligentsia to believe things like that: no ordinary man could be such a fool"
