Vow of Hell by Clara Elroy

I tried to read this book, but it was…not my thing, but not because of the tropes in it. First, it seemed kind of odd to start the book off with the MC’s fiancé having sex with another girl in a bar bathroom, but I was willing to give this book a chance. However, it wasn’t worth it, in my opinion.

For the most part, this book kinda reads like a fanfic, there's rival fashion companies, where of course they're extremely rich. She's a family disappointment, and a bastard (like her parents weren't married when she was conceived), he was some hotshot and isn't anymore, and his dad hates him. Even the names of the companies seem fanfic-y. The names of the companies being Fleur and Falco.

I went into this book knowing that it was an age gap, arranged marriage, which usually aren’t my preferred tropes in a book, but I was willing to read it. I feel that, even though I was only 10% of the way through it before I quit, it probably wasn’t going to work. Both the tropes and the romance between the two MCs.

DNF at 10%, 1/5 stars.
