The First Four Years by Laura Ingalls Wilder
3.0
I just about put this book down for good at page 4. This tacked-on little house on the prairie book begins by revisiting Almanzo proposing to marry Laura quickly. Only this time, the story goes a little differently.
It turns out Laura doesn't want to be a farmer's wife.... Okay. But she gives Almanzo the benefit of the doubt and agrees to try.
This book was a quick read. But disaster after disaster gets tiring to read about. And the ending was less than satisfying. Still, it was interesting to see just how Laura's new married life turned out...
