Rattle #56 Summer 2017 by Alan C. Fox

5.0

Once again, Rattle delivers emotion and connection right to my mailbox. This was a powerful and poignant edition with the theme being Mental Illness. The Contributor's Notes, while normally interesting, were in this volume intimate and courageous.
My two favorite poems were:
Containment by Francesca Bell
My Beautiful Father the Fire Bird by John Gosslee

but...there wasn't a single poem in this issue that I didn't like or didn't touch me in some way, and that's rare. I look forward to renewing my subscription.
