ok so this book just had so much going on. ill be honest, i only picked this book out at my schools library bc my english teacher was reading it and im a suck up. at first, i thought it was kind of cringe, not a fan of the numerous hogwarts references…also very obvious it was written by a millennial but what can you do most ya authors are.
ok so i hated felix at first but i warmed up to the guy. he was kind of whiny all like “my last name is love but ive never fallen in love oh boo hoo poor me” bs but ig that was the whole point?
best character? leah and
declan
worst character? fucking marisol she pissed me OFF. even worse than
austin because honestly i feel like the reveal that he put up the transphobic gallery was rushed? i wouldve hated him more if it wasnt.
also the ezra being in love with felix was okay i guess. i liked declan better at first but it was a good portrayal of toxic relationships which i appreciate. the author shouldve definitely put more hints that ezra was in love with felix though, because it felt SO rushed. maybe the point was to show how oblivious felix was, and how his  insecurities prevented him from seeing it. or maybe it was obvious and im just stupid lol im bad at romance stuff, its honestly my least favorite genre.
some parts of this book were a little..got me thinking, “should i be reading this book?” also i loved the plot, a little cliche but this was just a little fun read. love poc nonbinary author representation too! because lots of mlm/nwlnw books are written by straight women (cough cough carry on) overall a book i would recommend if you can deal with reading mildly cringey stuff.  i could just bc my expectations for this book were kind of fucking low that i was pleasantly surprised. love live leah
