anyways…this ONE was VERY HARD to get into…the introductions confused the hell out of me & dragged on so much BUTTTT when we finally got past that ugh this book was phenomenal!
the subtle comedy through the intelligent writing & dialogue is extraordinary. reading aloud was so entertaining!!
my big three is definitely reina, parisa & nico in the following order too — reina being my sun, parisa my rising & nico my moon (parisa and nico can flip flop sometimes tho)
oh did i absolutely ADOREEEE the dynamics!! parisa & nico were SUUUUCH a treat! the way she said that they can never be anything bc he’ll screw her w his whole heart (like yeah but UGHHHH) & ugh i love how parisa’s way with skittering around topics to get what she wants thru ppls thoughts, like it’s fantastic. & libby and tristan?? how utterly undone he gets around her and how she’s utterly oblivious to it is so funny
