Zikora by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

Been craving Chimamanda content for a while now. So glad I was able to read this.
Beautifully written as expected. Very easy to read. I can never get over how amazing Chimamanda’s style of writing is. Simple and almost effortless. I particularly liked how she wrote about childbirth. Recently, women have become a lot more open about sharing the not so pleasant details of delivery and the immediate postpartum period which I think is great and so important. This story explores relationships and made me wonder why daughters extend a lot more grace to their fathers than mothers especially in cases of infidelity.
I’m in awe of how she’s able to fit so many themes into this very short story.
