So many feels

This is a new to me author and I’m glad I found her work. This book gives us two damaged souls and then we get to watch as those souls find each other and are slowly repaired, albeit in fits and starts.

The MCs here are Mac, a famous author and Tommy an artist who loves books, creates art with them but can’t read them. After getting off to a bad start, fate brings the two of them back together again and we watch the relationship gradually develop.

The writing is crisp and the emotion practically curls up off the page to give you that “tears are coming” throat burn. The big crisis moment is different and the resolution clever and unique. The reconciliation scene is so sweet. The ending with the HEA is heart melting.

It was a quick and enjoyable read and I am moving right on to book two where two of the secondary characters from this book get their story.
