i seriously love laini taylor’s writing, it’s the perfect blend of tragedy and hope, saddness and happiness. i love mik and zuzana and karou poor sweet karou. i love her so much she is such a smart and fantastic character. hopeful to a fault. i had remembered most of what happened in the first book but had completely forgotten the majority of this one so it was fun feeling like i had read it for the first time. as soon as i get home i’ll pick up the final one :D
