Did not finish book.
Disjointed.
Based on the premise, this is so in keeping with my reading interests that it's exactly the kind of book I should love. Sadly, this book doesn't feel fully realized, like despite knowing what it wants from itself it doesn't quite know how to get there. It keeps losing track of what it wants to focus on, world building or character and relationship developments, and every time the focus shifts it leaves me feeling untethered at its abruptness.
Not a book I can recommend or finish. Ultimately a sad way to start off the new year. Definitely confirmation that I have better luck with fanfiction.
