The Arrival of Armando DeLeon by Rhiannon Frater

4.0

I was intially worried that the series might begin to drop off for me since I’ve been fairly in the middle with my last two reviews. It’s a good series, however I haven’t felt that real need for the next chapter once I finish the one I have. I can say that I’m beginning to feel that now.

The Arrival of Armando really picked up the story for me and I also really enjoyed seeing how the Socoli’s have managed to carve out a life for themselves very similar to how they lived before. It’s clearly not the same but I like that there is an effort to it and it’s interesting to learn more about the other vampires in this would as well. I like that we get to see a more grown up Vanora in this and that she’s becoming her own person, and has some wit to her.

Readalong Discussion: Armando

So this week we are focusing on Armando and all of his swoon-worthy goodness. He’s dark, mysterious, and sounds damn near perfect to look at. I think the best thing about him is the fact that we truly have no idea what he’s truly up to, is he a good guy or is he a bad guy? We get glimpses of him for both past and present, so we can kind of tell where it lies but I’m more than a little curious to see how he gets to that point.
