Keegans stories are absolutely incredible. However, I really struggled to see past her using racial slurs in two of the stories. It was a real shame because they were all so good so this ruined the experience for me. As a white woman it didn’t really feel like there was any reason for this to be included in her work, so this let me down a little. Other than those two stories the rest were phenomenal, but it was hard to come back from that.
