Very good. Sombre and emotional. The poetry of the song of Achilles contrasted with the silence of the girls was touching. The ending was particularly moving. However, I would have preferred not having Achilles’ POV, think the point would have been better served by the whole story being Briseis’ narration.
Graphic: Child death, Slavery, Murder, and War
Moderate: Homophobia, Rape, and Suicide
