Just sayin' this is almost 650 pages long. It's a very VERY long book. I honestly expected more action from this book considering the title and the events that happened in the last one. I felt like inner dialogue was dragged out so much as if to give the characters more depth but personally I feel like it was unnecessary since we've already gotten to know the main characters and their friends well enough in the first three books. I enjoy reading about side characters than I do about the main ones and that's kinda sad. I often found myself asking where Delano and Reaver were. I don't thunk that's a good sign considering I was actually invested in Gas and Poppy in the first two books. After TCOGB they're just there. I expected a full on war (the title was put to shame) and I feel like I just read a filler episode and skipped the war. Cas I feel like has no purpose anymore other than emotionally distressing Poppy in order for her to unlock her powers.
