Sophie and her friends join the Black Swan and help cure a plague. This was very action-packed, but also a little depressing. It felt rushed for the last 60-70 pages, but I enjoyed it nevertheless. I'm glad that Dex got more page time because I feel like he needs more. I also want more Linh and Tam, but I feel like I am going to get more in the next book,

The gnome species almost went extinct, Calla sacrificed herself, and Keefe *somewhat* joins the Neverseen. He swears he's doing it to help them get answers, and not that he's evil, but I feel like something is going to happen with his mom that's going to change his mind. I mean he did kind of join to help save his mom who, as we know so far, is still in ogre prison most likely being tortured.Moderate: Injury/Injury detail and Grief
Minor: Blood
