This is by far the best book in the cosy fantasy genre. I flew through this in a day. I really loved the characters and worldbuilding. I wouldn’t have expected a low stakes fantasy book to have worldbuilding but it’s clear that a fair amount attention was paid to that aspect. I think the pacing was great as well. This is such a great debut and I can’t wait to see what Baldree writes next.
