Did not finish book.

I dnf at page 178 (about 45%) I really tried to give this a good effort. I was so excited for the lore and a different type of fantasy story. However, I found the dynamic with the main characters just a little off. I also felt the pacing was all over the place. The descriptions were good. I just didn't find a connection with the main character. I may come back to this but I started this at the beginning of the year and have started and completed many books since then and haven't found the desire to return.
