“The world is a big and small place, and life, a terrifying and sublime journey.”
As many have shared already, this is such a unique take on the complexities and unexpectedness of living life. The writing was easy to read and beautifully crafted. I greatly (no pun intended 🦈) value the theme of what it means to be human, and the small things we often take for granted, like being able to pursue dreams or memorize the faces of loved ones we see every day. There is SO much to unpack in this novel that simply cannot with one read through; I rarely reread books, but this one might just make the list.
