Writing style and dialogue was a bit eh. Repetitive and somewhat forced. The ritual sequence was fire, tho! The investigation and research part was interesting too. Apart from that the story just felt flat as a horror and romance novel.The pacing is also irregular at times.

I also read somewhere that the story was originally a destiel fic, so I automatically pictured both characters with Dean and Cas' faces while reading
