The style of Quinn’s inner monologue really irked me for the first little bit, but I eventually grew to like (or at least tolerate) it. As someone who enjoys writing screenplays and made short films, I could kind of relate to those parts, and it was sometimes fun when a scene would cut to screenplay format. While it took me a significant amount of time to get into it, it does feel worth the read by the end.
