I think if this book had existed when I was in high school, it would have been perfect for me. Unfortunately I found it 10 years too late. Despite not being the target audience, I still found it a solid read. It was a bit slow and very emotional, too angsty for my (current) tastes, but well written. I'm glad it exists for this generation of high schoolers.
Moderate: Self harm, Suicide attempt, and Death
Minor: Child abuse, Homophobia, and Sexism
