A Royal Pain by Rhys Bowen

3.0

The second in the series following Lady Georgiana, thirty-fourth in line to the throne, set in 1930s England. While I enjoyed reading more about "Georgie" I am not enamored by her as I am with Bowen's other series characters, Molly Murphy and Evan Evans. She lacks the curiosity and drive needed for a crime solver. For a mystery book, the actual mystery seemed second to the main story. The actual amount of suspects were slim, and we weren't sent into a whirlwind of sleuthing which I usually enjoy. Still, fabulous pacing and an enjoyable read.
