You do not have to be a fan of the old Batman TV show to enjoy this first volume of the Batman '66 series. If you loved superheroes as a kid, and you want to re-capture a bit of that free-wheeling feeling of adventure, this is a great read for you.
All the corny and campy sensibility of the 60's show (and of a lot of superhero cartoons since then) are here, but now there is an expanded playground for writers and artists to use these takes on these characters.
A lot of fun, a good mix of winking humor with action.
