Updated: Reduced from 5 to 3 stars after coming to understand the author (perhaps accidentally) fudged/exaggerated facts. Booo! I really enjoyed the book, got lots out of it, but that sh*t don’t fly.

Wow! Picked up this book to motivate myself to prioritize sleep more, and it worked. lol. I was floored by the health, learning, safety and productivity impacts of not getting enough sleep. This book is less of a how-to-sleep-better (though tips are included) and much more of a fascinating deep dive into sleep research and what we know about impacts of short sleep. As a therapist, I will now be spending much more time emphasizing importance of sleep with my employees and clients. Definitely would recommend!
