The tension?? The banter?? The magic?? The first sex scene?? XADEN??
I was worried about angst, but I wasn't anxious at all, and unless blood and death make you uncomfortable, it's pretty chill when it comes to triggers. There are a few lines of jealousy, but it is definitely unnecessary, and there isn't any dramaShe's not even interested in Xaden lol
Violet salivating over Xaden was a bit too much sometimes but I can't blame her.
- I'm probably in the minority here, but the dragons mostly annoyed me. 😅

I won't be reading book 2 because (according to reviews) there's a lot of OW angst and lack of communication so no thanks🥴
