2001: A Space Odyssey by Arthur C. Clarke

4.0

4 stars!

I picked this up on a whim (which happens sometimes, but not too often) and am therefore really thrilled that A Space Odyssey was something I enjoyed and liked immensely. I wasn't mindblown or anything, but I'm pleasantly surprised which is nice to be, too. I haven't watched the movie, and I didn't really know what this was about except space travel. I love space travel and epic space adventures. What I loved most with this novel was the adventure/explorer aspect, of course. It was great, and it had some mind-fuckery tossed in there, which I loved. One thing though, it was a little confusing towards the end. Or rather, a lot confusing. The world building was a little all over the place in my opinion, but it's understandable because it's not a world, but a universe. I recommend!
