Someone's Listening by Seraphina Nova Glass

3.0

This was pretty good! I listened to the audiobook and I enjoyed it. I thought the narrator sounded quite bored at the beginning but I grew to like it quickly. I don’t think the writing was fantastic, it wasn’t a suspenseful thriller/mystery as much as it should have been. I enjoyed the story, I didn’t expect the last twist which I liked. I found Faith’s character to be kind of unlikeable, she seemed extremely judgey and definitely didn’t seem like a therapist to me. The beginning of the story was extremely babbly, just went on and on. There’s also an extreme overuse of the word(s) “Jesus Christ”. It did keep me interested but it felt pretty basic. So much was happening, so many storylines and characters and little plot points that never amounted to anything, things I felt weren’t overly accurate, etc. All in all it was okay!
