From the book blurb - Spending her days pretending to be nothing more than a vapid young socialite, Rune spends her nights as the Crimson Moth, a witch vigilante who rescues her kind from being purged. When a rescue goes wrong, she decides to throw the witch hunters off her scent and gain the intel she desperately needs by courting the handsome Gideon Sharpe - a notorious and unforgiving witch hunter loyal to the revolution - who she can't help but find herself falling for.
I absolutely loved this book! I couldn’t put it down and the world building of this book was fantastic. Rune and Gideon’s banter made me laugh out loud. This book is filled with the best kind of tension building and I am here for it. There were tears shed while I was reading and I’m eagerly awaiting the sequel coming on February 18, 2025!!!
Favorite quote - “In all those years, how many times have I needed saving? She must have asked aloud, because Alex said: “It’s not the times you don’t need saving that I’m worried about. It’s the one time you’ll need it, and there will be no one to do it.”
